We went almost at closing time. Current price was $4 a person and they said we could stay as long as we wanted. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There were a few touch tanks. I saw a previous reviewer wrote that the shark was not there-a staff person pointed it out. It was a very small female shark and she has no teeth. We spent about 45 minutes and it was a nice way to beat the heat. We would return. We got some great photos, too.

Tidelands is a small place, but is packed with information. They have touch tanks, several rooms of wildlife and a shark tank. A great way to spend a couple hours.

We loved our guide, Tess, she was a wealth of information and very pleasant. Gave us detailed instructions on how to kayak and the waterways and stayed with our group at all times. We learned many things about tides, marshes, wildlife, etc. It was a beautiful day and wonderful trip. We kayaked with the dolphins!! I highly recommend!!

My husband & I took our four children (aged 15, 14, 4 & 2) to the center. We spent several hrs & had the opportunity to touch & feed all kinds of sea life. Interesting tour where all of us learned a great deal. Only $6 for 5 of us & the 2 yr old was FREE. Excellent.

Stopped by during a rainy afternoon and had a great time! The center is small, but very well maintained and informative. The staff is amazing and not only took the time to talk to us about the center, but also recommended a restaurant for lunch and spoke to my college age daughter about possible majors to work in the field. Definitely a "must visit" while on the island. Worth much more than the $3 admission fee.
