“Enjoyable experience”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We were quickly seated, served by friendly waiters and the five of us enjoyed our food. The owner came out for a chat and that made it more personable. Overall a good experience!

“Wake up for the sunrise”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

You simply can't take a bad picture here. So interesting. Great views of St. Simons too. I woke early to take sunrise pictures and was the only one on the beach. So peaceful and beautiful.

“Driftwood Beach”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

We visited Driftwood Beach during a recent trip to Georgia. The entire island is family friendly and a lovely place to visit. Our exploration of the island included some time on Driftwood Beach. The beach is gorgeous and a great place to explore, as well as, a great place to look for seashells. We found many. There are many other attractions on the island so be sure to allow at least a day if you visit. A must see if you are vacationing in Georgia.

“Must see beach”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

We were encouraged by friends to visit Driftwood Beach on our overnight visit to Jekyll Island. Wow is the best way I could describe it! You have to go first hand to see how the ocean has eroded this end of the island and slowly knocked over or washed away these century old trees. Make sure to go at lower tide or you won't have much beach to walk on.

“Amazing beach”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Cool beach -- not one you can layout out at, but the driftwood, little crabs, and educational qualities of showing our child how erosion works was amazing. Have to see it to believe it!
