Every year that we come to Jekyll, we eat here. The food is amazing for all entrees and sides that we have had. This year they even did more. They have labeled their entire menu for those of us with dietary restrictions. No more guessing! In addition, if you choose an item that isn't gluten free or whatever, they can often adjust it accordingly. I am not from the south, but oh their shrimp and grits are amazing! My husband had the pork tenderloin which was tender, juicy and flavorful.

The waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food has always been delivered to us very quickly. As someone else mentioned, the $10 bottle of wine is also a draw. We have 4 more weeks on the island, and we plan to go back several times. It's the best value on the island!

Ate a late lunch while day tripping on Jekyll. Service was somewhat spotty. Took an inordinately long time for the food (burger for me, chicken sandwich for my wife) to arrive, but when it did, it was hot, fresh, and flavorful. If you're looking for a "quick bite", not the place; but if you have the time, not a bad choice

What I liked about this place was that you can get a small or large plate dinner. There's all kinds of good items on the menu, and the prices are reasonable. Can't beat (or turn down) the $10 bottle of wine offer!

Really enjoyable meal and it was a very good value. I had the shrimp (blackened)and grits which was around $10.00 for the petite selection and was plenty. You can also get the regular size for around $15.00. It was VERY good! As a life long Southerner I am very particular about my shrimp and grits and these were top notch! That along with the crab bisque was a treat and you will not be disappointed. Others at my table got blackened shrimp platter and chz grits along with cole slaw and they loved it. Another person had the flounder and it looked very good as well. The peach cobbler and bread pudding are two of the desserts made on site and they were really good as well. If you are a wine drinker, they offer some decent selections for $10.00/bottle and will let you take the remainder with you via brown bag. You may want to get there early since there was a sizeable line by the time we left. Even if you have to wait it was worth it!

We were on the Island for a wedding and asked at the hotel desk where we should go for dinner. Driftwood Bistro was one of the places recommended. So we not only went there that night, we also recommended it to our guests over the weekend. We arrived late for dinner and were greeted acceptably. The 6 of us sat down and the service was just fine. We had some wine and of course, while in South Georgia, had to sample the shrimp & grits, which was very good. The overall ambiance and experience was great, we are happy to refer friends there and will return.
