Wonderful food, good value, personable staff. Felt like home!!! We will return again and again and recommend the old standard shrimp and grits or the meatloaf. Yes, meatloaf!!!

“Wild for Wild Georgia Shrimp!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We read the great reviews for this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. They don't take reservations so we waited about 35 minutes on a Saturday night to be seated. Once there, we were pleasantly surprised with the deliciousness of the wild Georgia shrimp dishes. We had them grilled as an appetizer (seasoned really well) and later on in shrimp cakes and in the shrimp and grits dish. As a previous reviewer noted, the squash casserole was excellent! The bill was very reasonable and the service was excellent! For dessert we had "Augusta's now famous bread pudding." It was wonderful. Our waitress happened to be named Augusta, so we asked her if it was her recipe -- it turns out it is her grandmother's!

“Great Prices”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

Food is standard American pub grub, but done very well. The prices are more than reasonable for a beach front Villa. Plus many decent bottles of wine for $10!! The locals flock here early and they don't take reservations for parties under 10. But if your staying at the Villas with a big group stop by the restaurant when I opens at 5 and they will save you a table.

“Excellent prices for excellent food”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Good choices and reasonable! Try the different featured drink specials as they are yummy! Recommend the grilled shrimp appetizer and no matter what you chose, it's comfort food down to the mashed potatoes which are real. Didn't leave room for dessert darn it all.
