Perhaps the name has changed, but there are no signs with the name Cafe Solterra anywhere. The cafe is part of the Jekyll Island Club and you have to park in the Turtle Center lot and walk toward the river. Go up the stairs on the right and there is a sign that says "Club Cafe". Once I got over the frustration of driving around the historic district and running into barriers that don't allow through traffic in this direction or that and found a helpful employee who gave us the secret location we were very pleased with the cafe. I suppose they don't want to encourage non-club guests so they don't make it easy. The pastries were tasty and the coffee was delicious. My kids liked the smoothies they got, though I wasn't sure if they were real or the powdered kind and didn't have time to ask. There were lots of customers and the staff was friendly and efficient. There are outdoor tables on the veranda, though the view is not the river, just the lawn and other side of the building. There may have been a way to get through and eat on the river side of the building, but we didn't take the time to look.
