Other reviews called this the best in Hinesville and that's probably true. As we waited to close on our house, our reservation on-post with Lodging ran out and so we moved here for two weeks. It was worth the extra $25-30 per day.
An early hiccup was resolved: after smelling cigarette smoke in our room, we were quickly moved to a much better room. After our experience on-post in Lodging, that courtesy was a breath of fresh air.
Pros: The beds are spectacular and the breakfast is great given the usual fare. The staff met our needs promptly.
Setbacks: The TVs were overqualified for the cable feed. And the wifi went down a couple of times. But we were able to stream Netflix out out trouble most of the time.
Our main disappointment is that we are not pet owners nor smokers, and a good portion of the rest of the guests had pets and smoked. But I think this may be the one hotel in Hinesville which allows pets, so there is that.
It is obviously the newest hotel in town. If they can maintain it (pets?), LQ will remain the gem on the edge of town. Only 10 minutes from being through the Fort Stewart main gate even at the early morning PT rush, if you can handle the extra money stay here instead of on-post. It was worth it to us!More
