Was not prepared for what we saw after we paid our $5.00. The most incredible model railroad we had ever seen! Hot air balloons, a two story mountain with castles, bungee jumpers! We met the owner and his wife - lovely people. He has been working on this layout for 25 years, a true labor of love. A must see for adults as well as children and well worth the money.

The fruit of a talented couple's life-long hobby, Charlesmagne's Kingdom is a railroader's delight. We enjoyed the overall view of the 50 ft. long display of German topography and architecture (the miniature buildings are all of existed buildings), but got really fascinated when we started looking at the details on the many buildings and farms, and train tracks of the display. My husband counted at least 6 different trains that wind through the German countryside. Farms had tiny ducks or geese on the ponds. Houses had miniature flower boxes at the windows. Two "burning buildings" near firestations had glowing "flames" inside, and gray cotton "smoke." We spent an hour noticing details of the various display areas, and wished we had brought our binoculars to see the details of the buildings and countrside in the middle of the model. (I think it is 15 or 20 ft. wide.)

We noticed families with children enjoyed it, but the kids "processed" it much faster. Our grandkids do that at museums, too, so that was not a surprise.

The building also houses a shop with good quality toys and puzzles.

I wasn't sure about this one. Not really into "trains" - but this was wonderful. A wonderful little German town with trains. Well worth the $5 per adult fee. Everyone loved it.

It is pretty neat place to see. If you are into model trains then, you need to see this place. A lot of time what put into this place. Cost a few bucks to get in.

The gentleman who runs this railroad display is very delightful and knowledgable about the area as well as Germany.
The second floor is only accessible by stairs but you can still get a great view from the ground floor
