This hike follows a creek that has lots of places to cool off along the way. The falls themselves are not spectacular, but are nice and the hike is easy for everyone, but interesting all the way there. There are lots of wild flowers in spring! The trail is well-traveled and you will meet many people along the way if you go on a weekend.

This is one of our favorite hikes in the area. Because of health issues, I have a difficult time with uphill climbs. While this one has a few, they are do-able for me. It is a bit longer of a hike though. It took us about 3 hours in and out. We always pack a lunch and enjoy it when we reach the falls. The falls are beautiful. My kids, who were getting bored with "too many waterfalls" liked this one because it was different. There are many places along the way to take a break along the stream and get wet, if its warm enough. Our dog loved being able to play in the water. We saw a lot of people on this trail. There were bathrooms at the parking area, but they were closed. I'm not sure how often they open them.

I love this trail. Literally every time you see a water fall, try and climb down and you'll end up as close as you're comfortable with getting to any waterfall. This trail is pretty, and a bit strenuous. It s a 5 mile round trip approximate. Fun times with the pup :)

Great Hike, only be careful at falls, it slippy and after rains of June 2013 a lot of loose rocks and slick spots. Covered to fall in hour and five minutes and back in 45 minutes. Did late morning and photos could be made everywhere.

We took our time on this hike taking in the fauna and flora and the many water features on the way to the cliffside. We started out early around mid morning figuring that there would not be as many hikers and the air temp would be comfortable. Plan on at least 3 hours for this hike (2.5 miles to the cliff). The trail difficulty is easy to moderate with an easy incline. Although the trails is well maintained, wear good shoes and if possible bring a hiking stick. You will have to navigate over tree roots and rocks. Use bug spray to repel ticks and chiggers. The final destination is the spectacular cliff with a waterfall. Because of the recent rains, the waterfall was showing its full potential. As we were walking back, it became evident that this trail is very popular. Glad that we started the hike early. Lastly,be aware that the bathroom facilities are closed.
