Years of contributions from private collections has made this a very interesting museum to visit, if you are the least bit enamored of the comedy duo. Be sure to check the visiting hours...

Small hometown museum. Good collection of artifacts. Continual showings of Laurel and Hardy films. Nostalgic.

This small gem of a museum, containing seemingly every type of Laurel and Hardy memorabilia imaginable, has been assembled with loving care. There is a small theater in the back. Simply ask for the L and H movie of your choice, and it will be played for you. The volunteer on the day of our visit was very friendly and knowledgeable, with an obvious passion for Stanley and Oliver. Even our three-year-old granddaughter was captivated. Before leaving, make sure you don a bowler and have your photo taken in the car with Stan and Ollie.

This is a tiny but comprehensive museum located in, Harlem, Georgia, the birthplace of Norvell Hardy. It is a charming stop along a barren stretch of I-20. Well worth the time! Enjoyed viewing some of the old films.

This was an excellent excursion on our way back from the coast. It takes about an hour to go through. Don't miss the italian restaurant up the street !
