Description: Welcome to the Hapeville Dwarf House, home of Chick-fil-A! On May 26, 1946, Truett Cathy and his brother Ben Cathy opened up a small restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia called the Dwarf Grill. What started out as a small dream turned into over 2,000 restaurants nationwide. 70 years and one name change later, the Hapeville Dwarf House is thriving today. Unlike your typical Chick-fil-A, the Hapeville Dwarf House has a full-service side and is open 24 hours, 6 days a week. But, don't worry, you can find everything you love on Chick-fil-A's menu here, plus some. Come on in for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or even a Midnight snack. We'll be open (except on Sunday's)! NEW! We Cater! Whether it's a business meeting, event, or family reunion, you name it, we can cater it! Check out our website for our catering menu.

We stopped here kind of on a fluke. We got off at the wrong exit and decided to grab breakfast. What a treat. Loved the entire experience. Will stop back the next time I am close too Atlanta Airport

“Victim of their own Success”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

One Char Grilled Sandwich $3.99

One Salad

One Sweet Ice Tea

Total Bill $10.15

I sat at the counter so I left a $2 Tip

$12.15 for a light lunch.....You are out of touch with the working man. Come on family of Truett. I used to get a Char Grilled plate and a dressed bun. The salad was a cup of chopped lettuce. I'm thinking it was around $6.

“Wonderful Meals”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

We love this place because it has a wonderful breakfast bar. You can get everything you would ever want for breakfast on the bar, chicken, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, oatmeal, grits, and it's all you can eat or stand.

“Right on time”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

There are only a handful of choices on the stretch of highway connecting Forest Park and Hapeville, and this is the only place that I like to stop with my family. The service is great, and we don't get that much from most of the other local establishments. I don't recall ever having my order filled incorrectly, and we are always asked if we would like any condiments with our order. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but we are not surprised nor are we driven-away...you have to expect as much when they are the best place on the road. :)

“A Blast from the Past!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

You can't leave Atlanta without a stop at this place. This is one of the most unique restaurants you will visit and- not to mention- the Original Chick-Fil-A! Friendly, down home service, an original menu- unlike the usual Chick-Fil-A's we are used to, and a "Happy Days" feel. Just like I imagine it was in the 50's and 60's. A definite step back in time that we enjoyed tremendously and will visit again when back in these parts!
