“Exceptional food and service”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

We were told that this on-site restaurant was recently reopened with a new chef. We ate breakfast every day and the food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet and the pancakes are the best you will ever enjoy.

Dinner is also a great experience and I highly recommend the fried chicken. My wife and I returned on our last evening just to enjoy another serving of fried chicken.

The staff is wonderful and cater to your every need and will make certain the children get exactly what they want to eat.

“Try the other restaurants before this one”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

Food was decent, but service was subpar. Wait staff needs more training, nice folks, but food service education was lacking. We ate late, so restaurant was slow, but dinner was rushed, check brought out to our table before we were done with our bottle of wine (not to mention no one ever checked to see if our glasses needed another pour). Also, I was disappointed that the "Chef's special" for dinner that night was a buffet. A lot of traffic non-restaurant patrons from a hotel entry way poorly placed in the center of the dining area. All in all, not Ritz worthy.

“Loved it for Breakfast and Dinner”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

Missed it for lunch; otherwise that would've probably been good too. Breakfast buffet is just what you'd expect; delicious. Extra special was sausage gravy, country sausage and omelet bar; just ask them to use spray vs. oil. Sunday dinner is a fun pig roast. It was very tasty but we also did the regular menu and it was good with many choices. Buttermilk Pie was the best ever. It's at the Ritz with Ritz prices.

“Best meal of our trip!”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We ate at Georgia's Bistro our first night at the resort and it was fantastic. The food was delicious traditional southern cuisine. I had shrimp and grits (because why wouldn't you have shrimp and grits at a restaurant serving southern cuisine) and it was heavenly. Even better was the pork belly appetizer. They also have a great cocktail menu. The dining room was rustic and had a casual but up-scale feel. Definitely not your average hotel restaurant.

I can't forget to mention the service. The server was so friendly and helpful (but not overbearing). She made great suggestions and made us feel very welcome. She ensured a great restaurant experience.

Of note, this restaurant is only open on certain days during some months so plan ahead. If we hadn't gone on our first night we wouldn't have been able to go at all because they were closed the other nights. Also, the picture above in trip advisor isn't the same restaurant. The picture above is of a restaurant in town and this restaurant is in the Ritz Carlton hotel.

“Private dining room dinner”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

For those unaware, Georgia's has a small private dining room (maximum 12 guests) available. I hosted a dinner party there on Feb. 16, 2013. I had selected a custom menu to order from, and the choices were excellent and varied, allowing everyone to find something they liked. It was a wonderful event, enjoyed by all, and service was very nice. A little slow, but everyone's food was excellently prepared. Wine choices were outstanding as well. A fantastic setting for an intimate dinner party. I believe Georgia's and this room are under renovation now, so your party may be even better! My contact there, Alex, was also extremely helpful and always available.

Lastly, why is a picture of Amici's in the review of Georgia's???
