We stayed here for one night on our way back to the airport in Atlanta. With taxes we paid $100 to have a an upgrade to a room with a lazeboy recliner. This turned out to be a rather old armchair and footstool with a good variety of stains! However it was OK with a towel over it. Overal the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was OK with a selection of cereal, bagels and a waffle maker but you eat everything off plastic plates with plastic cutlery. As has been stated in other reviews this is more of a motel with good access to the freeway. In the area there is a big gap from this to moving up to the hotels where you would pay almost double so this isnt bad value but there are simple things that could be done to improve.

Overprice to start with at $99 for the location. We "up-graded" another $20 for a "hot tube"(total $119) because of my wife has a hip problem. Well the hot-tub" was a low quality tub with jets that made bubbles and nothing else. Tried to fill tub and ran out of hot water. So the hot tub turned out to be a warm tub bubble maker. The next morning I told clerk about the problem and she said she would have staff look at it. No offer a a refund was made.
I have stayed at Jameson before in nicer locations and have been pleased.

I wrote e-mails to Corp. and this Inn and no reply. Because of this I may never stay at a Jameson again.

Room Tip: Don't up-grade or get hot tub. Not worth it.

I stayed at this motel in February of 2012. It's not the "Ritz" but it was clean, and right off of the freeway. Not much going on in Greensboro, so The Jameson was just what the doctor ordered.

Room Tip: Get a room on the ground floor to avoid having to lug bags up steps . . .

The Jameson Inn is one of maybe two hotels in the area. It proved to be a perfect location for our weekend get away. Greensboro is a nice little town with a few antique shops and a couple of restaruants....just what the doctor ordered. While not the Ritz, the Jameson Inn was very nice, well maintained and the Staff was very accomodating.

Really clean, comfortable room, great beds, fridge and lovely toiletries. Able to park right outside the room which was helpful with heavy cases. Lovely pool to relax in which was most welcome in the heat which was over 100 degrees. Was advertised with a deluxe breakfast but was just your normal, average bread and waffle breakfast. Would recommend.

I stayed here with my wife for a nearby wedding for a couple of days.
The Jameson Inn is okay. It isn't a hotel, but more of a motor inn or motel. All the doors to rooms lead outside.
Okay continental breakfast. Okay front desk.
Old style TVs in the rooms. There was a hole in the wall in the corner of our bathroom. Oh, and speaking of bathrooms, my goodness you can't make them any smaller than at this Jameson. The door swings open barely missing the toilet and almost scraping the shower/tub. TINY.
We had a billing issue because we arrived at the hotel at about 4am. So they double-billed us for 1 night because they thought we were a no-so. I did inform them in my reservation that I would be arriving very late, after 2am. So, this took a couple of weeks to fix and reverse charges, but in the end, I did get my incorrect charge reversed.
I wouldn't stay here again if I had real choice in the matter. But, in Greensboro, you have the Ritz and the Microtel, and Jameson is in the middle so budget comes into play.

Bed was not comfortable, hurt my back. The room was ok for the money but I wouldn't stay another night.
