The cabins are beautiful, clean and come with everything you need to feel at home. I am looking forward to staying there again when the weather is warmer to experience the beautiful scenery while swinging on the porch swing!

This is truely a great place to stay. It is well worth the money and so comfortable in every way. It is very nice and quiet. Has blacktop drive and parking. The chalets are just as comfortable as being at home. And they are beautiful. It made our stay at Fort Benning a great experience. The people are so acommadating and friendly. Thank You!

If you want a great place to stay while visiting Ft. Benning, GA, stay at the Camp Uchee campgrounds outside of Phenix City. You will stay just outside of the fort, and there are log cabins to sleep in, with a full kitchen, some sleep up to 12 people, or you can stay in a motor home, or pitch a tent. There is a pool, basketball, volleyball, canoes, paddleboats, and all kind of activities on the grounds. Speed limit is low, roads are winding, so your children are safe. You can visit the museums on the fort, or drive a mere 45 minutes and visit Andersonville, GA, the site of the Confederate prison camp, see the movie Andersonville before you go so you will get the full impact. The national POW museum is here, plan to spend an entire day just at this. It is a very moving place to see, and you realize the true cost of our freedom. I recommend this place as one of the best I have ever seen.
