No outside door security. Anyone can get in right up to your door and knock. Door lock is standard hotel deadbolt. Only one chip type key for room. Decor from the early seventies. Drunks circling the building hollering late at night while we unloaded our stuff. Our family did not feel safe and it was hard to sleep. Even with a severe penalty for smoking the rooms stunk like smoke and masking agent. Stinking so bad it we got very little sleep even though we had been on the road for 11 hours. Left right away in the morning still tired. No review on the breakfast as we left early
6 anonymous reviews from google maps put us there. We were too tired to drive on.
The staff was nice and helpful but the physical hotel needs a total overhaul. Not up to modern standards. For the same amount there are better chain motels. Keep going or go back.

Nice hotel. Didnt have any problems or concerns with our one night's stay at this Econo Lodge in Forsyth, GA. We stayed on the first floor with our 2 young sons. Felt the springs a bit in the bed , wouldnt want to sleep on them for an extended amount of time but was great for a one nighter.

The motel honored a coupon from one of the booklets we picked up at the GA Welcome Center, giving us a very good rate. It was a typical Econo Lodge, with large rooms. The inside corridors are a plus, and unlike one or two previous reviewers, we felt perfectly safe. Check in was efficient, and the staff was friendly.

One of the mattresses was badly stained on the side; otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

Econo Lodges generally have minimalist breakfasts but do usually include at least one non-sugary cereal. Here, the only food was two types of sweet rolls and a loaf of bread for making toast (in addition to the orange juice and coffee). Clean mattresses and the addition of a breakfast cereal would raise my score to 3 stars.

A Mexican restaurant is adjacent to the motel, allowing us to have dinner without driving to find food.

Basic economy hotel. Friendly staff. Clean room. Reviews told us what to expect. Meager continental breakfast. Ample coffee. Grateful for quiet so near interstate. May stay again next trip down. Remote for tv not working but able to use buttons on tv.

This place is not fancy by any means. However, the room was clean, the service was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. At under $50 for a single king bed... I highly recommend saving money and staying here.

We stayed at this property on a Guest Privileges Reward Night voucher. We were very pleased at the ease of check-in and check-out, the very quiet room despite facing a very busy I-75 and the staff was so extremely friendly and helpful it bordered on disturbing. Every staff member we encountered acknowledged and spoke to us and asked if we were doing ok, enjoying our stay and asked if there was anything we needed. The room was a little musty but not intolerable, once we got the air on and the room dried out a little. Our one and only complaint was the severely limited selection on the continental breakfast. We normally stay in Comfort or Sleep Inns and realize that Econo Lodge is not as high of a level of property as the others and therefore don't expect as wide an assortment, but my wife has very specific diet requirements and the lack of a protein available forced us elsewhere for our breakfasts. Otherwise, it was a property that is fairly well-kept given its obvious 1970's vintage and the staff was very courteous and responsive.

Room Tip: Choose rooms in No Smoking wing. These are also no pets. Rooms in smoking wing don't smell like...

I will say the hotel clerk was very sweet and helpful, a very nice older lady, but I have never seen anything like the way this hotel is run. All rooms are off of inside corridors, but the outside door is not locked, and all unoccupied rooms are left wide open, doors not shut, anyone could walk in off the street and occupy any already unoccupied room. It left me feeling very unsafe. The room was clean, and very large, but no amenities at all, no microwave, no refrigerator, just a TV and beds, two bars of soap, no shampoo or anything like that. Weird how they leave all the room doors open like that. Very very odd and unsafe practice. I would not stay here again. I double locked the door and my mom and I did not come out until morning!
