This restaurant is not the easiest to find, but when you do, this will stick in your memory.
The place is perched on top of a 600 meter high hilltop overlooking the valleys leading to Chania.
The owner and his wife make you feels very welcome. First taking you into their kitchen to see what is on offer today. Everything is slow roasted in clay pots and made from only organic local ingredients. The cheese from the cow in the backyard, the tomatoes from the garden, the oregano from the hillside, etc.
This is not the place if you want Souvlaki or any other Greek tourist favorites.
On offer for us was roasted baby goat, Dakos, wild boar, green bean salad, home made wine (wow quite strong), and a vegetable and cheese pie that was to die for...
The owners take much pride in keeping everything as organic and local as possible. The quality shows thru.
The drive up the mountain is very nice and I would recommend this for a sunset dinner.
