There is no shower or even a faucet for feet cleaning, the bathroom is dirty and service was not as expected.
Food is average quality. Price around 80.000 COP per person. Positive points: easy parking (free) and access to the beach.

Thank Lucas C

Best beach. Sad my girlfriend and I only found this on our last day. This should be the number one attraction on TA for San Andres. I would have been here everyday if I knew about it earlier. This is what an island beach experience should be like.

The main beach on the North End is plenty fun, but we decided we'd hike to San Luis to explore the beach there. I'm not sure I'd recommend the walk--it took about 90 minutes and wasn't particularly scenic most of the way (taxi back to North End was ~US$6). That said, upon walking by Aqua, we made a good decision to spend nearly the whole the day parked here. Though the waitresses are definitely on "island time," it's tranquil, very reasonably priced, and the ceviche was delicious. It also beats spending your day on the beach itself as there's a proper bathroom at Aqua and you can settle with a credit card at the end of the day. The beach itself had fewer people and certainly fewer watercraft than on the North End, and I didn't find the need to wear shoes in the water here either which was a plus. I'd happily waste another day here.

We spent two of our holidays days on the Acqua Beach Club.
There is no charge to use the facilities as long as you consume their food and drinks while you are there. Prices are reasonable/ comparable to other places on the beach. Great location on the beach with plenty of shade for those that want it. All in all a good experince which I recomend.

We toured the whole island and did spend a few hours here. You have to pay for parking and for a designated seating area. There are other areas where you can stay on the beach (just down the road in fact), the water is clearer and not have to pay. Think the water wasn't as clear as other areas because there were a few boats and jet skis moving about. This place had loungers and covered table/seating areas where you can be waited on and order drinks food, and there is a small storage box to put your stuff in *there is no lock but staff assured us items would be safe so leave valuables in it at your own risk. We only ordered drinks, they were all very strong. The water wasn't as clear as other areas and part way thru our swimming opted to get out because one of us got stung by something a couple of times. Never saw what it was that stung, assumed jelly fish. Waiter kindly brought vinegar upon request to pour on the burn. In 5 minutes a gentleman on the beach was complaining about a sting on his leg. Then within a half hour the group of 6 people next to us all came back to their table examining their own stings (we told them about the vinegar trick). We didn't have any issues with unidentified stinging creatures any where else around the islands but a good reminder when entering the ocean...especially if you are in an area where vinegar or some sort of anti-burn medication is not available.
