Really nice place to stay in San Andres away from the hustle and bustle, the beaches near by are some of the most beautiful on the island. The staff were helpfull and the facilities good, we had read other reviews saying things where broken however for us we had no problems (it seems alot of renovations have been going on). I recommend hiring transport like we did as this part of the island is well worth it! Would love to stay again!

There are many good and bad things to say about this hotel.
Good:
The staff very friendly
The room was large and there was working cable tv and A/C
Had a pool and jacuzzi as shown in the photos

Bad
first, the sign on the outside reads Ocean breeze, so by taxi, we passed by it several times before a google search mentioned that it was formerly called Ocean breeze. That's very important and highly recommend they change that, especially as it will effect your initial impression.

Next when I arrived around 2:30pm there was no one available to check me in, only the cleaning lady who I talked into at least letting me wait in my room (rather then the hot lobby). Around 4pm or so, the receptionist still wasn't around so i was told I could go out and just do it when i got back.

Ok, the room was large, with high ceilings, but unfortunately mine was right next to the pool and jacuzzi, which was not turned off the entire first night, so the noise from the water was bothersome. In addition, the neighbors played loud music which I understand the hotel can not control.

It's a small, boutique hotel, only 6 rooms, which means you will need to be flexible in your expectations if you are accustomed to larger hotels which have more staff/amenities.

What you might miss:

Internet in your bedroom (only in the warm lobby, and slow, several speed tests had a ping of 80-500ms and speed of almost 1mb up and 1mb down). This is important because the hotel is not walking distance to much, besides the beach. Luckily there are buses which pass infront of the hotel... probably every half hour or so.

A restaurant, you are told that the neighbor makes food, but it's more like at her own house rather then some restaurant, and the price she's asking for is a little high for what's available.
I'm here in the lobby and been waiting an hour to check out, unfortunately the roof in the lobby also leaks in several spots.

Ah, and Im not sure rooms are cleaned daily. Certainly mine has never been cleaned since I arrived a few days ago.
But when you see the staff, they are very nice.

The hotel seems to be under a slow renovation process, and it's certainly needed. There was lots of rust in the bathroom accessories and many of the lights in the bathroom didn't work.

My new criteria for hotel selection. If it's in a popular area with walkable activities, you can sacrifice on hotel amenities since you'll probably just be sleeping there. If on the other hand, it's not in a walkable activity area, go for a higher end place, which allows for relaxation and yet still connected to good internet. At least if it were larger you could interact with more guests and there might at least be some restaurants nearby.

lovely boutique hotel with great amenities including jacuzzi, pool, luxury bedrooms with exquisite taste and great food freshly prepared. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and offers the typical beach bars where you can buy coconut water and other local products. However, the TV was not working which was OK since we spent most of our stay enjoying the island. will definitely come back.

When we arrived we soon realised that the location of the "hotel" was less than desirable. Approximately 4 miles from the centre / any amenities.

- The Tv in the room did not work - no signal.
- The A.C stopped working halfway through our stay.
- The Jacuzzi was broken.
- Showers cold.
- The breakfast poor.
- No tourist information.
- Unclean and in a state of disrepair.

When we mentioned the facilities were broken or not working correctly, the staff replied "we know" and neither apologised nor offered compensation.

This hotel looks the part in the photos but is far from it in real life. It has the potential to be a beautiful boutique hotel, however, the lack of attention to the basics i.e. clean and working facilities means it is no more than somewhere to sleep. The staff either don't care or are not paid enough. The owner must be under the impression that people will continue to come regardless.

If you want to have an enjoyable stay with access to basic and maybe even boutique facilities, book another hotel.

Avoid this at all cost!

Whenever you think on a boutique hotel, you expect: exclusiveness, peace and luxury. Well this "boutique hotel" doesn't have any of these. For the price that you pay you deserve quality, good service an luxury rooms, but this place has been under construction for a long time as I can see in other reviews. The door of our room didn't work at all, the furniture was all messed up, I'm uploading the pictures because they really tell the truth of our visit. People there try to do their best job but the place is really a disaster if you compare it with any other boutique. I would say it can be compared with a Lodging house but a really expensive one. Horrible amenities, no wifi, no hot water, it rained and water was all over the place. Just take a look at the pictures.

I'm really sorry but this is not a boutique, when we complained they offered us more days but we really wouldn't stay there.
