The waitress was funny, helpful (told us how to order our breakfast to get it cheaper) and on top of her game. The food was good, hot and served quickly. The place was busy, had a comfortable vibe and mostly filled with friendly locals.
It wasn't a gourmet experience (an egg is an egg and grits are grits) but we left happy, full and satisfied and started our drive on highway 52 toward home very pleased with our lot in life!
