My husband and I eat at Cornerstone every week. The breakfasts are well prepared, generous and delicious. The French toast specials are yummy! The Burger Gone Wild is served on pretzel bread and is absolutely Wonderful. Every day Terri has breakfast and lunch specials that are creative and tasty. One waitress is always on duty and can manage 25 customers without missing a beat. She is friendly and efficient! On weekends a second waitress joins the team.
The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming.

This was the only non-chain restaurant we could find that served breakfast on a Sunday morning. So glad we did. Fast service. Excellent breakfast. Outstanding sweet tea. Wood burning fireplace.

Three of us were in the Atlanta area and decided to head up to Ellijay during the week to check out the beginning of Fall colors.. We stopped at the Corner Stone Cafe, which was cutesy Country looking with tables and furnishings. All 3 of us went for their daily specials, 2 of us for the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans and cheesy biscuit and the other had Shepherds pie. Well, we did not get any cheesy biscuit as they said they were out of them, at 11:45 am, ever heard of making more in a hot oven? And NOT ONE of our meals came to the table hot, they were barely warm, tasty I will add, but almost congealed meat loaf was quite the turn off. The place was not very busy at all, so just assumed they are lazy, must not have a microwave, which would have been highly desired for this food and must not keep the oven going to keep daily specials hot.. Would never recommend this place.

We ate here before the Parade in downtown Ellijay on October 20. The service was quick. We all ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were burnt and so dry they had to be washed down with a drink. Absolutely tasteless, yuck. The biscuits were $2.50 a serving, we had 3 of those, a water, and 2 cups of coffee, but our bill totaled $14. So, $6.50 for 2 cups of coffee?! Definitelty disappointed in this meal!

We ate breakfast here during the Apple Festival. Restaurant did a great job of handling the crowd. We both had "Mike's Mess" for breakfast. It was okay but nothing special. Wish I had tried one of the specials. Biscuits were not the best I've had. Staff was very busy but were friendly and trying hard to serve everyone with it being so busy. Prices were good.
