“Always a wonderful experience”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

This was our second year in a row going to these apple orchards. There apples are the best and the prices are very reasonable too. Last year we purchased a groupon and that is how we discovered these Orchards but this year our kids were already looking forward to fall, so they can go apple picking. We had such a good experience last year at this Orchard that we decided to go there again this year.
They have a $10 per person package that includes 1/2 bushel bag for your apples and it might seem small to look at but can easily hold 15-20 apples in it, the petting zoo which is fun for younger kids and the hayride. They also have apple cannons but there is an extra charge for that but the kids really enjoy shooting apples into the baskets. There is food there for purchase but it is quite expensive and the shop is very crowded at all times, so its always a good idea to bring your own picnic as they have picnic tables and a spectacular view, from the orchard. The restrooms are not so clean and there is always a big line for the restrooms which are right next to the shops but if you cross the road where they have additional parking, they just built restrooms there this year, which are much cleaner and less crowded. Enjoy your apples, my favorite ones are the Golden Delicious from their farms.

“Reece Apple House”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

A nice place to go in the fall to pick apples right off the trees. Added fun for the kids includes a petting zoo and a shooting range, where you can launch apples with an air gun and if you hit the target you win a delicious apple pie. Even if you don't win a free pie, though, you should definitely try the pie. It is out of this world delicious. Don't feel up to picking your own apples? No worries, the store has lots of already picked apples of all varieties to sell, as well as fresh vegetables and an assortment of jams and jellies. Well worth a trip to the North Georgia mountains, especially since the fall colors will be on display, too. Only one constructive comment: consider lowering your prices, especially for the petting zoo, which costs $3.00 for each child and each adult. A peck of already picked apples costs $10.00 but if you pick them yourself they cost $10.00 plus $2.00 for each person in the orchard? Shouldn't the already picked and bagged apples cost more?

“great experience for the whole family!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

i took my entire family and friends over the weekend to this apple orchard and we all had a good time. For a nominal fee, you get to enjoy this place w/ your friends and family.
They still have different varieties of apples to pick and taste at the same time.
Unfortunately they don't have apple cannons, but instead gave us a 1/3 peck bag in lieue of it. The kids also enjoyed petting the animals in their petting farm, surely an experience they won't forget. We did the wagon ride too, but the truck died on us on our way back. The driver gave us back our tickets and throw in free pie for each of us. not bad compensation for a short distance walk going back! Their bakery has a lot of pies, bread, etc. to offer. I purchased fried apples pies, peach pies and cream cheese pies and they all taste great! I wish i got an apple bread, too.
They also have clean picnic tables to hang out to and nice rest rooms.
We definitely recommend this apple orchard and we hope to come back next year!
