Beautiful park with lots of natural surroundings. This place offers camping, cabins, golf on one of America's top public golf courses, Olympic quality rowing docks and training facilities, hiking and biking trails, and a small beach area for swimming. In addition, the lake offers some of the best fishing in the region.

We had a wonderful campsite and the golf course was so much fun. Be sure to pack what you need since the nearest store and town are not close at all.

We have been coming to this park for our fakily reunion for as long as the park has been open. We use to rent the pavillion every year and stay in the cabins. Now that the family reunion is get ing smaler and smaller we just stay in the cabins and have our lunch between the 5 cabins we usually reserve. It is 2012, sadly we will not be coming back. The cabins are going down.We checked into the park on a friday and want to leave already. We have experienced nothing but aggravation. That has never happened. The old manager has retired and things are so different. First we were told something different than what we have experienced over the years. Secondly, in the cabins our oven is broke , our front eye on the stove is broke and we were told what we needed to do to fix it instead of sending someone down to fix it. I mean we did pay over 1000.00 for the week. Then we looked in one of the kitchen drawers and noticed the smoke detectors was not een hooked up.
Sadly we will not be coming back.

Arrowhead Pointe golf course inside the State Park is awesome. Suggest a mid-afternoon tee time if its not too hot and it will be less crowded. The back 9 is must play! The park also has a very nice Disc Golf course you can play (extra fee).
