After reading the three reviews before mine, they all seem to be paid advertisements. I ate here Saturday night. Some friends invited us to meet them at Oconee and fish. They had been on the boat all day and decided to stop here to eat because of the convenient boat parking. The place was full of very stuffy rich people who looked at us like dirt. Well, considering the place has boat parking, they should expect some folks to walk up in swimsuits with messy hair, even if it was Saturday night. Our friends waited over an hour for a four top outside. Luckily, by the time we arrived we had time to have one drink and the table was ready. Our waiter was either new or horrible. He took our drink order, and it took about 10 minutes for him to come back with 3 beers and a mixed drink. He then took our entree order. When the fourth person ordered and said "I want Ranch dressing on my salad" two others at the table said "does my meal come with salad?" and he said "yes a house salad with house dressing". Well one didn't want salad and the other wanted ranch. The waiter got a little frazzled having to go back and write that in. He just assumed everyone was ok getting a salad with house dressing. It just went downhill from there. Also, my husband ordered shrimp and grits. The andouille sausage was so hot, he couldn't eat it and he loves spicy food. Since their menu doesn't have a spice level by the dishes, you might should ask if a dish is spicy. But if you got our waiter, he wouldn't have known anyway. He also told us the bar tab was added to our meal. We paid in full and left. Guess what...I check the bank account this morning and the bar tab went through also. Too many dressed up rich folks for my taste. Sipping wine and watching young girls in floor length dresses and kentucky derby hats play corn hole on the lawn.
Food was average. Service was poor-average. Price was average-high.
