This is a good facility. We stayed on a weekend when there were two family reunions, so the breakfast and manager's reception were less than enjoyable as it was difficult for the staff to keep pace with the crowd. We stayed over through Memorial Day, so the crowds had checked out by Tuesday morning. The breakfast was excellent on Tuesday.

Rooms are adequate and comfortable. Because we traveled with a 21 year old, the charge for internet access was not well-received and there were complaints from her that there were not enough TV stations.

Overall, we were pleased with out stay. If I had known there were two family reunions booked during our stay, I would likely have made another hotel choice.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites the week of April 27 and very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel has just about completed its renovations except for a couple of the public areas. I heard no noise during my stay while they were doing renovations.

My room was very nicely decorated and very clean. Service was great and the staff were very willing to go out of their way to assist you in any way that you needed. I had a couple of minor problems with the room phone and hair dryer and the staff immediately came to my room after I called and replaced both with new items.

The breakfast was very good in the morning. The only minor complaint that I have is the managers reception lacks in the items that they serve to eat. I have stayed at several Embassy Suites and this one mainly serves chips and not many hot items.

I would stay at this Embassy Suites again without hesitation.

This is everything you come to expect from an Embassy Suites. They are still updating the lobby and the place smells like glue and varnish, but the place is nice. Free drinks in the evening free good breakfast in the morning. The gym is small, but larger than average and has individual TV's for each machine (neat). The room service is not worth the price, but it is in a great location to eat. There is almost everything within a 2block raidus and the mall is great. It is also close to the MARTA. Traffic is unusually not too bad in this area, until you get on the interstate - so beware of merging traffic.

This was the start of our Holiday to Georgia 3 nights Atlanta, 3 nights Savannah and then return to Atlanta for 3 nights.

The hotel was like most Embassy Suites we have stayed in. We love the lay out of these suites especially as we are a family of 2 adults 2 children. We can have our own room while the children sleep on the bed-settee in the other room. These suites have recently been re-decorated and furnished. They look and feel lovely. The bed and linens were so comfy.

The location of the suites for a family visiting Atlanta for a holiday and wanting to see most attractions is not the best but saying that the area is very very pretty when you get off the main streets.

If you get the opportunity take a car ride south to Buckhead down "peachtree dunwoody road" the houses are beautiful. We were lucky enough to see the blossoms

Looking for a good restaurant then there is no need to drive. There is a steak house called JOEY D's on the right hand side as you drive up to the Embassy Suites. It really has wonderful food and excellent service without being too stuffy. We went twice as the food was so good.

On our return from Savannah we stayed in Atlanta for another 3 nights we stayed at the Embassy Suites, Galleria. These suites had a much better location and they also have suites that have just been renovated..

This Hotel would be ideal if you needed to be in this area.

we stayed here for our 44th anniversary...it may be a little out of the mainstay, but their shuttle took us to Marta and we were able to see a lot of Atlanta using this transportation...the staff was very friendly, and remembered our names which is impressive...the shuttle also took us to several restaurants. It was nice to park your car FREE and not bother with the heavy traffic...the hotel is undergoing some painting and updating, but the small inconvience this caused was overpowered by all the other anemites. we are going back again in late March '08. Definitely recommend this hotel.

WOW! Where to start? This place was very impressive! Lots of very attentive staff. When I made my reservation, I asked for a quiet room. We were treated to the corner room on the top floor which allowed us to see a large portion of Atlanta...really neat at night! The atrium was a beautiful part of the hotel and we loved the open feeling. The manager's reception gave each person a free drink and snacks. Breakfast was cooked to order by 2 chef's which handled things very smoothly. There were many hot and cold choices and it was a great start to the day. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were both large and good temperatures. The suite was well equipped with a king bed and queen sleeper sofa. There were 2 flat screen TV's, 2 phones, a fridge, and a microwave. ( Also a wet bar we did not use) The bathroom counter is awesome...runs the length of the bathroom. The three elevators came quickly . They were glassed in and looked out over the atrium. This was our first stay at an Embassy suites but will not be our last!

Now...3 little things we did not like. Parking lot was at least a city block behind hotel ( farther depending on where you could find a space so make sure you unload before you drive around and park. Also, I suggest you be in better shape than I am ( should have used the nice gym!!) for the little hike! A previous reviewer mentioned being charged for valet parking. That is not available any more.
Secondly, we were the first customers of the night at their restaurant. The server was also the bar tender and maybe the cook (?) as it took a VERY LONG time to get our food which was a very basic order. The prices were decent but check your bill as we were accidentally overcharged,. Of course, that could happen anywhere! The pizza we got from room service was good and larger than we thought it would be.
Thirdly, the TV channels are very limited...no Disney without paying for a movie, no FOOD Network, TLC, etc.

I had never been to Atlanta befre this year and had to work during the Final Four. This hotel was not too far from the city center (20 minutes by car) . I had a 2 room suite and loved the spaciousness of the place. I had a great bed and tv in two rooms. The Happy hour ( Happy Hour? I am from Boston Happy hours are outlawed) so I liked that. Staff was excellent and Southern Hospitality ruled. Second, the internet was not free but my company paid for it so I had no qualms there, although it would piss me off if I had to pay. breakfast was fine and pool was open late so I go to soak after working 120 hour days.
I would definitely recommend this hotel
