You must know before going that the Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant so the experience is pehaps as important as the food-good thing!
Setting, a little dark but clean. The booths all have very high wall between them so a very private type atmosphere.
Service was polite and timely.
We ordered the 4 course meal which in retrospect is way more $$ than if you pick and choose from the menu.
We started with the classic cheese which comes with several types of breads, apple slices and some veggie pieces but mainly bread. It was quite good and a nice start.
Salad was pretty decent in freshness, taste and size, but I think this is more of a filler as when the main entres arrive you look for the food and can't find it.
We ordered several different entrees to be able to share and try as many differnt meats, veggies, fish as we could . We were very disappointed with the portion sizes and quite frankly, most of it didn't taste very good.
Lastly was a chocolate dessert fondue which was very tasty but again very small portions.
Bottom line: Was fine, Cheese and chocolate quite good. Main course very poor and the whole thing very expensive. Next time we'll do it ourselves at home!
