We got there checked in. Went to the room and it smelled really bad. Mom had a room as well and it smelled bad as well. Asked them for a different room and they did give us another one. The AC in that room was a digital setting and it did not work as good as the other room. Took a whole day for it to cool the room off. Being the week before Memorial Day you would think that they would have the pool open. Not so much. Asked them when it was going to open and they said they could not open it till they had the ADA equipment installed. They did not want anyone's feelings hurt by opening it up prior to having it in place. It would be another two weeks before that would be installed. Look at the other two hotels next door with nice clean water and no cranes and it was disappointing.
Beds are hard as a rock and pillows not so good either. I was ready to get home to a nice bed and be able to sleep without tossing an turning all night.
Cleaning crew did take the towels each day even when they were hung up as asked to help keep the hotel green. Did not really understand that one when they asked if you would hang them so they would know. Location was good to get around the area we were staying and able to get downtown without any issues except the Atlanta traffic. It is right off I-85 so within 30 minutes you could be in down town.
The breakfast was OK but I did like the waffles the first few days then by the end of the stay the mix changed or something. Not so good on the last morning we ate there.
We will not stay there again.
