High in the Georgia mountains this timeshare was clean and quiet. I enjoyed the cool and misty mornings and the warm and sunny afternoons. The staff was attentive and friendly. I will stay there again.

I've lived here all of my life, but just started playing golf earlier this year. I played at Sky Valley on Saturday and it is one of my favorite courses so far! Wide open, and beautiful makes for a fun game! The settings are so quaint, waterfalls, rock paths, wildflowers, ponds and surrounded by mountains. There is a Chapel at Sky Valley as well, so to hear the chiming on the hour and hymns played on the 3:00 p.m. hour were a nice touch- no traffic driving by or loud restaruants to interrupt the sounds of nature. There is a small but adequate pro shop, a nice staff and a snack bar. We'll be back!

This is the second summer we have rented a unit at Sky Valley. We love having coffee on the porch in the AM watching the humming birds, (we bring feeders),and listening to the quiet, interrupted only by the carillion bells. Sky Valley is close to numerous attractions. Just go to the nearby visitors centers or attend the Mon. AM meeting at the Sky Valley offices. The staff bend over backwards to be helpful and make your stay comfortable. Our units have been well equipped and spotless! Sky Valley is a great home base for your vacation whethrr you golf, hke, sight see or just relax

If you don't golf there is not too much to do up here which can be a good thing if you just want to relax. They do have tennis courts, nice pool and sauna area for property owners and time share renters. The resort's previous owner went bankrupt and Sky Valley Resort is in receivership/bank owned. Property improvements including the new clubhouse are incomplete. The latest news is that a new buyer or the city of Sky Valley is going to be taking over the club but that is unconfirmed at this point.
