“Good Food POOR SERVICE”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Just moved to the area so I saw this on Groupon and read the reviews hoping it would be good. The food was oustanding but the service was very poor because of that I won't be returning. We ordered our app. and food and the same time and it took nearly 30 minutes for them to bring the app out and then another 30 to bring our food, this was just outrageous. The bacon wrapped scallops were great. A little pricey considering you only got 3 scallops but it was well worth it. I had the shrimp and grits and I've never had them mixed over a sauce, but it was great. The taste was amazing. Everyone else said there food was good too (when we finally got it).

“First time visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

We heard about this restaurant from a friend. We went on late Sunday afternoon after going to the Decatur Book Festival. The waitress was courteous and knowledgable about the menu. We ordered clam cakes for an appitizer and they were excellant. I have never had anything like it any where. My companion had the shrimp po-boy sandwich and loved it. I ordered the Harbor Fish Stew. What I got was a mixed bag. The broth was excellant and tasty. The shrimp were large and plump and not overcooked. There were only three Mussels and the meat inside were gone...just empty shells and no sign of them in the broth. There were no oysters in the soup at all although the menu said they would be. The fish was overcooked and falling apart. There was was one large snow crab leg without a shell cracker. No spoon for the broth either. The sweet waitress apologized for the lack of a spoon and shell cracker. I will come back and try some other dishes in the future. Perhaps they need to pay more attention to the details in their dinner entrees.

“Fantastic Food and Fantastic Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

There are so many great restaurants in Decatur - but Harbour is hands down my favorite! Fresh seafood in a great environment ... surrounded by happy people and good music. The owners, especiallly Chris, go above and beyond to make everyone feel like a regular. From fish tacos to pasta with pesto scallops ... it's all good. They also have a really fun brunch - with all you can drink champagne ... but I have to say the best has to be their spicy Bloody Mary. They offer three variations if ya don't like it hot. Speaking of hot ... the bartenders (ask for Grey - he's a cutie!) are fantastic too. Liberal pours and reasonable prices. Check it out - you won't be sorry.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch eating outside. Nice casual dining - yummy fried shrimp and hush puppies.

“Taste of New England in the South!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2012

This restuarant in a house on Church St is a great taste of New England in Decatur. The food is authentic, as the restuarant is owned by native New Englanders. Oysters are their specialty with a chef from Seattle who know his stuff.
The parking lot beside the restuarant is a great advantage too when you want to eat in town, but don't want to have to circle the block.
