Came here with family after recommendations by one of our extended family that worked last year as a chef at the Atlanta Four Seasons, and who also had recommended excellent Iberian Pig restaurant nearby. Wednesday evening was about a 35-minute wait, and we had their French fries appetizer while waiting - excellent. The horseradish and curry dips were out of this world, and the fries were cut thin with a bit of sea salt (?) added.
When we sat down in the dining room our entrees ranged from trout almandine over potatoes and greens, to burger and fries, to brisket, and scallops. All were very good to excellent, though the trout would have been more in line with our tastes if a touch less salty. Portions were generous.
Service was prompt and friendly.
It was an enjoyable place for a relaxed, informal, dinner, if fairly noisy with all the fellow diners enjoying their dishes as well.
Decor has a little pleasant holdover from the building's days as a local service station, before it became an antiques shop, and then its current incarnation.
Pleasantly smoke free. Will probably try coming here on a Monday evening and see if have a shorter wait, or plan to sign up for a table and come back after a bit.

This was our third visit to Leon's, and we have been more impressed each time. Not wanting to wait for a table on a Saturday night, we sat at the bar. Watching the incredibly busy and knowledgeable bartenders performing their magic was a true delight. The place is a mecca for beer and cocktail lovers, but the food is a big step up from most bar food. They are known for the fries and dipping sauces, but you will reward yourself if you venture farther down the list of sides - the zucchini cheddar casserole is outstanding! The bartenders and staff are friendly, helpful, and really seem to enjoy what they do. We will be back for more visits!

After many trips to the Atlanta area, I decided to go to Decatur based on a great write up in the Atlanta Sunday paper. Leon's was highlighted as one of the best places to eat in the city so my sisters and I headed there for lunch. As a New England foodie - I was very pleased at both the menu options and specials were fabulous! Fries- outstanding! With nearly 15 dipping sauces to choose from. Try the horseradish mayo - you will not be disappointed! Everything we had was over the top.

I've never taken anyone to this restaurant that didn't like it. The atmosphere is cool and energetic. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, friendly, and consistent.

The name "Leon's Full Service" comes from the fact that the restaurant is situated in a renovated gasoline station. It retains enough of the old station to make it an interesting spot. The place were the old pump islands once were has been converted to an outdoor seating area. Off to the side of the restaurant is a bocce ball court where friends can socialize and enjoy a refreshment if they prefer.

They have a great menu of appetizers, small plates, sandwiches, sides, and entrees. There are frequently new and interesting dishes to keep the menu fresh and interesting.

The have some of the best pub frites I have ever had anywhere. These are served with a substantial choice of either mayonnaise or ketchup based dipping sauces.

Their service staff has to be knowledgeable to support the extensive menu of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. They are very capable of making recommendations and seeing to it that you are satisfied.

You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. . . .

While in town visiting family we had the opportunity to experience Leon’s. My husband and I both loved the old service station décor! They have a large drink list and the food was varied and delicious. Our group of four ordered food and several drinks and paid just over $100, not too bad given the cool venue.
