The wife and I visited for the weekend. We were unable to get a room at the resort, but stayed at the Best Western about 10 minutes away. Saturday was pretty crowded in the pool areas. There were several single males, but none seemed to bother anyone. You could tell that there were a number of people that were regulars and knew each other, but it seemed the majority were couples that had come alone and were meeting new folks just like us. The vast majority were average looking people, some overweight, some with life scars, non model types. There was some nice eye candy as well. Most seemed to be 40 to 60 with a few under 40 and a few over 70. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. Saturday night was the island party and dance club afterward. It was fun to see the different outfits that the ladies wore. Some changed a couple of times thru the night into other nice outfits. The majority wore sexy, revealing clothes, although a few were topless or totally nude. It was all good. It was obvious that there were some swingers in the crowd, but they appeared to all know each other and I didn't see anyone do anything to make anyone uncomfortable. The music and dancing were good.
Sunday was much less crowded and more laid back. The poolside tiki bar was closed, but the club bar was open. Those who were there began slowly leaving from lunchtime on thru the afternoon. When we left at about 5, there were probably less than 20 people remaining.
This was a nice weekend getaway and very convenient from the Birmingham area. We will return.

Only room available when calling for reservation was motel room. Small yes, but gigantic once we met the 3 neighbors in this 4 separate bedroom motel unit. Each room w/own bath/shower. Long front porch shared by all 4 units, but that's what makes it so special. Met@pool, eat together, then back to porch chat and compare notes on our day. What a fantastic time! And the regulars/residents are awesome. Made us all feel so welcome. Get the meal tickets! Great food for $18/day for 3 fantastic home cooked meals. Can't wait to go back!

I love this place. The condos are great- "hotel" rooms- not so much. Pool area is very nice. Only complaint is that they need better wireless internet that can reach the condos and "hotel". The current internet service is very poor.

We go every year several times and would recommend it to any fun loving couple. Like any nudist resort, couples will have the most fun, and you will find couples your age, no matter what age you are. The management is among the best you will find and it shows through the continuing wise investment of the property. The home cooking is especially nice to have on the premises without having to dress. The condo apartments are fairly new and well kept. There is room for all types of people. One of the unique aspects of the clientele is that there are frequent volleyball games of both water and beach. Most places have courts available but nobody uses them. For those of us who like athletics, this is a real plus. Some weekends are sold out, so book popular weekends early. If you are within striking distance of Atlanta, it is the place to go.

My boyfriend and i love this place. We've been twice and always dread leaving. We can't wait for the summer! The food they serve is very delicious and the pools and hot tubs are always clean. Nobody gives you weird looks or makes you feel uncomfortable. The office staff is very knowledgeable, and will answer any and all questions!

My only complaint about this place is not the facility itself, it's the people. In the two times we've attended, not one person has approached us and talked. We feel alienated and looked down upon. It is very cliquey, but even with that, we still have a great relaxing time! It would be nice to make some actual friends though.

I must say that Paradise Valley Resort truly earns the title of Resort. Tucked in a private valley of pines and hardwoods, in N. GA, is this incredible dream-like oasis, of over 100 acres. It is an impressive facility growing in popularity as the word has gotten out!

Three pools, two heated (volleyball and conversation), two hot-tubs (one indoor). A club with dancefloor, live DJs (F&Sat), billiards, ping pong, full bar inside, two outdoor bars (tiki and cabana), facility dinners and poolside hamburgers/hotdogs during weekends. Activities: sand or pool volleyball, trail hiking, great place to ride a bike, huge grassy hill for frisbee and off-leash throwing, dinner groups, socials and more!

There are multiple options for accomodations. Bring your RV, motel rooms, apartments, cabanas, condos, home sites (ready to build sites), tent camping and screened huts. For RVrs and tent campers there are laundry machines on site. There is nearby shopping, outlet malls, grocery stores and dining out. Johnnys Pizza also delivers here and will meet you at the gate.

This is a very fine example of what a clothing optional facility should be. Come for a day, a season, a year or a lifetime...I thoroughly loved my visit to The Valley...and you will too!
