The B&B is in an old warehouse that has been converted into a B&B. We stayed in the "Gone with the wind" room, which was large and had an imitation fireplace. The high bed was very comfortable due to the mattress topper. Breakfast is Continental, with homemade cake and an egg quiche. Better be on time or there might not be any quiche.

Room Tip: Room #3 is the "Gone with the Wind" room

3 couples traveled by open 25' deck boat down the intercoastal from Beauford Sc to Fernandina Beach Fla. we found Darien on the way down and Joanne and Kelly were so kind and picked us up from the marina. We didn't know where we were going to stay unitl we looked up places on the internet. The rooms were unique each of us had a great room. The breakfast was very nice.We enjoyed the waterfront restaurant and the people there. Not being sure how far south we were going, we called at the last minute for 3 rooms on the way back. we were delighted to return there in time for the 1st oyster roast and live music at Skippers . We were able to dock our boat at the dock out front so it was most convienent. All in all a great experience for boaters down the waterway. The Two Way marina was excellent too.

Room Tip: the room with the king 4 poster bed and fireplace was the best!

Our stay was part of a trip that included Charleston and savannah. We selected the Darien Waterfront Inn b/c it was close to the ferry to Sapelo. Darien turned into a great two day interlude. We biked at jekyll Isle and kayaked the Altahama River and rice canals. Our stay was relaxing- and everything about the Inn was positive. Comfortable, tasteful and friendly! Probably the most memorable part of our trip!

My husband and I stopped in Darien, Ga while on vacation two weeks ago and what a super time. A quaint little town with the nicest people. We stayed at the Waterfront Inn, in the Ocean Breeze Room. Although the new owner is still renovating and updating, It was nicely decorated, clean, quaint, a front porch facing the waterfront, The owner and I sat and enjoyed morning coffee, warm strawberry bread, and awesome conversation. She made you feel like you belonged! We listened to music at the wine bar and watched the shrimp boats come in from a long hard day! Don't miss this place if you are passing through! You won't even realize you are in a Warehouse it is so cute!
We recommend everyone who wants to experience the true hospitality of Darien, Ga to stay at the Waterfront Inn...Eric and Denise S

Room Tip: I would imagine all of these rooms are charming. Theres was a full house and I didn't hear one complaint.

We planned the weekend getaway to explore Sapelo and kayak. The inn is right on the main square area right next to the waterfront. You can walk to restaurants, wine bar, shopping, and outdoor adventure shop for kayaking. Skippers is a great restaurant with very nice people, which is right outside your front door on the waterway. It is a simple, understated b&b. If you are wanting an easy getaway on the coast of Georgia for a great price, this is the place!

Room Tip: Largest room is the Sea Breeze room. Smallest is the Captains Quarters. All have private large bathrooms.
