Description: Chef Jerome Brown, has 20 years in the seafood business. Our customers are our family members, we have over 10,000 photos on the walls of our restaurant! The Old School Diner, famous for the "Wheel Chair Platter!" - Come see why Ben Affleck says " Why ask, Trust your Chef" Carpeted parking lot? Yes we have that! A quick trip from Savannah and well worth the trip! A real Hidden Gem of the Southeast, that is a quote from Southern Living Magazine!

This restaurant is a 'must' if you're anywhere near Coastal Georgia! Chef Jerome is a wonderful cook and host. From the carpeted parking lot to the funky interior to all the photos on the walls from all his guests, this place is as unique as its Chef, who will make you feel welcome and right at home. The food is outstanding and plentiful, and the experience will make you want to come back for more.

“Old School Diner IS Not to be Missed Folks!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2009

Wow, you will never ever see a place like this, when you drive up you ask your self one question "should I go in" you may say no after seeing the "grounds." That's OK inside you will find the kindest people I have ever met. Chef Jerome Brown and family will make laugh, cry and carry on like a fool. You will be welcomed with open arms and know you are "home" and like family. Oh did I mention food we had the best Seafood Platter in the South BAR NONE! They call it the wheel chair platter for a good reason, fresh everthing, ribs, hush puppies, shrimp, osyters, fish and more. Low country boil, and there is always something special on the "board". They are only open Saturday and Sunday at noon till 10 PM and Wed, Thur, Fri 5pm till 10 PM

Direction are easy, off I-95 exit 67 Take US17 south about 1 mile to Harris Neck Road take a left, about 6.5 miles to OLD SCHOOL DINNER ROAD just past a BIG SIGN for RV Camping, take a right at the very small sign, it's easy to miss so if you get to end of Harris Neck Road just turn around about 2 miles or so west.
They have beer and wine...NO CREDIT CARDS BE WARNED! CASH or approved check only!

Thank Bill L
