Stayed at hotel in mid Dec on road trip stop did not have time to do any research just wanted to get off the road and get some sleep .wife checked us in parked right in front of room.this is a older hotel that has been remodeled the problem is that they must of hired day laborers to do the work the craftsmanship is not good most stuff looks like a drunk did the work the room was semi clean the sheets had something on them may have something that would not wash out besides that everything else was fine the front lobby is very nice much nicer than the rooms. We had breakfasts in the morning decent OJ and coffee food not so much I think I would try a different hotel if was in the area again but have stayed in worse.

We were glad to get a room in the back even though parking is rather tight.
Clean, quiet and a great nights sleep for a good rate. Everything that mattered to us!

We stayed October 27th and enjoyed our stay. The front desk clerk was nice. Our room was clean. The wifi worked great, the TV had many choices. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and hair dryer in the room.

Get confirmation & price via email - do not depend on phone confirmation.
The initial stay was good. HOWEVER.......

Upon reserving room (via phone) price was quoted as listed on website. Upon departure, & paying with cash, front desk clerk gave receipt of price on website, & upon drive home, contacted us via cell that police was going to be called because we did not pay correct amount. The desk clerk should have caught mistake before departure & we would have paid the difference. There were others in our party that was charged the website price & after departure, charged another amount on credit cards (all paid cash upon departure). I discussed issue with manager after arrival home & he was extremely rude. I also contacted Days Inn Customer Service, they said they did not want to get "involved" in this dispute since this Day's Inn is privately owned.

I booked the Days Inn at the last minute. The price was much better than most of the hotels in the area and it had a pool. Since I was travelling with my children, I wanted a pool to help keep them occupied.
Check-in was no problem at all. The man at the front desk was very friendly and explained everything clearly. When we arrived at the room, we found black marks all over the sink area and on the walls in the bathroom. Also, the toilet would not flush. We called the desk who had someone come immediately to fix it. We did not have any further problems with the toilet after that.
After settling in, my kids wanted to go to the pool. The pool is average size and looked very nice. However, when we got to the gate, the pool was locked. I called the front desk who said he would open the pool. When we went back to the pool area about 10 minutes later, the pool still had not been unlocked. So I went personally to the front desk. He came immediately to unlock it but by the look on his face, he was certainly not happy about it.
The WiFi worked fine after we placed the code in that is listed on the back of the room key cover. The microwave, refrigerator and television all were in proper working order.
The area the hotel is located in has many restaurants within walking distance. We definitely considered that a plus. Breakfast is only your average continental fare.
The hotel was quiet most of the night. We had one problem with people talking loud outside our door. However, it did not last long and we went back to sleep with no further disruptions. The beds were very comfortable.
So, for a one-night stay it is acceptable and you can save money. Just be prepared to call the front desk on some things.

My wife and I stayed in the Days Inn at Dalton, GA as our first night on a Midwestern vacation. It was just a nightly stopover; a bed and a shower, so we weren't overly concerned with amenities and were interested in simply getting a clean room and shower. The room we stayed in gave us that; it was clean and well kept, and we felt comfortable while there. The only complaint we had was the a/c fan could not be turned low enough to keep from feeling chilled while in bed. Other than that, we considered this hotel to be a good value and well placed, just a few short blocks from I-75, with plenty of dining venues from which to choose.

We will stay there again during our next trip to the Midwest.

Our stay was the worst in my life and my family's life, they don't give me enough characters to begin to describe how dirty, smelly, damaged and bug infested that our hotel rooms were. first off we were promised internet, but we didnt have none, we found bugs in two rooms and water damage in the other, my first room had crickets in it and smelled horrible, my second room smelled almost as bad and luckily didn't have bugs in it, but i still wasnt able to fall asleep. my aunt found a huge beetle crawling up her room wall, and the tv volume in her and her husbands room wouldnt stay up to where they could hear it, they actually had to hit it to make it work for them. my other aunt and uncle, with their two kids, had a room that had water damage, mildew stains and looked like someone had a party in there the hour before, all the rooms had cigerette burns on the chairs and some on the bed sheets and carpets, the carpets of which looked horrible. they were stained and it just looked like it really needed to be washed. the next morning my aunt reported to us that the apple juice tasted watered down and that the lobby smelled really nasty. after that we left, never to return or even to look back, it was the worst night of our lives and we dont plan on staying, or even thinking about staying at that or any days inn for the rest of our live.

Room Tip: advoid staying at days inn.
