Many restaurants in tourist areas are quite small and narrow places. Bourbon Street Grille is in the second story of a building overlooking the main square in Dahlonega. There is a separate bar area which is also the waiting area, an interior dining room and a dining room out on the balcony which most people want. The place specializes in brunch but has a healthy dose of Creole lunch favorites. Portions are quite large and filling. My jambalaya chicken was quite tasty. My friend brought us here so that she could get a second order of shrimp and grits. Most of the choices are quite reasonable pricewise. Service was fast and did not disappear once the food was delivered. Based on the number of patrons eating and the number waiting to get started, I'd say Dahlonega has a new must-try restaurant on the square.
