Located in the historic Hall House building, Bourbon Street Grill boasts full bars and dining areas on two unique floors, which begs the question, “Top or bottom?”. The “top” features an intimate dining room and balcony overlooking the picturesque town square, while the “bottom” has a festive pub atmosphere with flat-screen televisions inside and a pet-friendly deck outside. Our diverse menu offers the perfect meal to go with that perfect seat. From Cajun-inspired favorites like Jambalaya or Gumbo, to delicious seafood such as fresh Apalachicola Oysters or Blackened Redfish, and even that juicy Black & Blue Sirloin or Grille Burger, we have a fantastic dish to satisfy any taste. Join us on the weekends for our fabulous brunch options like Crab Cakes Benedict or our infamously huge Lost Bread. Our knowledgeable staff is happy to help you come up with tasty solutions for allergies and special dietary needs, so fear not, vegans and gluten-free folks! Pop in for a drink, and enjoy our selection of craft beers, fine wines, and specialty cocktails. If you don't have the time to sit down and stay a while, carry-out meals or on-foot delivery to businesses on the square are available. Many restaurants in tourist areas are quite small and narrow places. Bourbon Street Grille is in the second story of a building overlooking the main square in Dahlonega. There is a separate bar area which is also the waiting area, an interior dining room and a dining room out on the balcony which most people want. The place specializes in brunch but has a healthy dose of Creole lunch favorites. Portions are quite large and filling. My jambalaya chicken was quite tasty. My friend brought us here so that she could get a second order of shrimp and grits. Most of the choices are quite reasonable pricewise. Service was fast and did not disappear once the food was delivered. Based on the number of patrons eating and the number waiting to get started, I'd say Dahlonega has a new must-try restaurant on the square.

We were in town for "Bear on the square".

We sat on the newly added back deck and had their mahi mahi special and their burger. Both were delicious. Because we have a dog- we had to sit outside( no problem we actually wanted to!). They have nice little dog hooks for your leash right by your table, the owner brought water for our dog and even blankets for us! It was a chilly April day.

Great service. Good food and good beer on tap.

This place is great!

The burger and shrimp & grits was very good, as was the excellent and friendy service. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly throughout dinner. A good selection of draft beer where the staff provides a tasting if you request it. Overall, I very good dining experience on a lazy Sunday evening.

Gotta love some New Orlens cooking for Sunday Brunch. Everything is so different and unusual it makes it an adventure to eat here. Although the stair climbing can be a hinderence..it is well worth the climb up to this enchanted little restaurant.

We went in the first time with little expectations, ordered the jambalaya and the shrimp and grits. We got two good dishes, that were done right with just the right amount of spices. You can get shrimp and grits in many places down south, but those are one of my all-time favorites.
The prices are reasonable and the service is quick and efficient.
We come back here whenever we happen to pass by the area.
