We were pleasantly surprised by our delicious meal at the Corkscrew Cafe on Main Street. We got here for an early dinner (about 5 pm) and were seated right away. There was a nice sized outdoor patio with lots of shade. They even hung bags of water containing a penny to deter the bugs (don't know if they work or not, but the idea is neat). Our waitress was very friendly, told us all about the specials and knew the menu well. We ordered the special: grouper with cauliflower in some sort of sauce that was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and we couldn't have been happier with our food. Good selection of wine as well. My husband had the rainbow trout which was also delicious.
You must visit the bathroom because there is an old jail cell (with the doors still attached) on the way to the bathroom. Quite interesting.
Great atmosphere, there was a guy playing guitar and singing who was especially talented. We really enjoyed our meal and will absolutely return when in town.
