Wines and service was outstanding. Their orange house dressing was a surprising treat. Most of our group of 10 got either the trout or special of grouper. One ordered the chicken and was crazy about her dish.

We went for lunch on a Saturday in March. The location is excellent-it is just a few steps off the Square. We were greeted by a very nice young man as we approached. He was standing outside in front of the restaurant and he led us inside when we told him we'd prefer a table inside. We had a few appetizers that were eclectic and quite delicious! I had a smoked salmon sandwich that hit the spot and my partner had a burger that she said was one of the best ever. The service was top-notch and the owner stopped by to say hello and check on us. I will definitely go back.

We were visiting our son at North Georgia College and also wanted to check out the Bear on the Square event and saw that the Corkscrew Cafe was highly rated in Trip Advisor. What a delightful place to eat. We had brunch on Sunday and although it was busy were seated immediately. it is a cozy place on the interior but there is additioanal space on a patio. The food was delicious, my wife had the wedge salad and I had the french toast with Pecans, apples, and fresh fruit. The food presentation and service was excellent and only exceeded by the delicious food and generous portion. They were also featuring a flourless cake, so my gluten-intolerent wife was in heaven. They also did offer a gluten-free menu which is good to know for those travelers with wheat issues.
We were very pleased with the attentive and cordial staff from the hostess and server to the owner, who appeared to be very much a "roll up the sleeves and pitch in" kind of guy. The high ratings for this restaurant in TripAdvisor warranted, strongly recommend this place.

This restaurant was great. We ate outside in the back patio for dinner. Food was delicious. The staff is very attentive, polite and helpful. I had the special, my husband had the steak.
If you're looking for a find, this is it. Out of the way, quaint, rustic, warm and cozy!

First time visit for lunch on saturday. Found the inside dining area small but cozy, the staff and owner VERY FRIENDLY. Great choices for lunch. I had 1/2 sandwich (Ruben) and soup (french onion) also came with veggie chips and portion of pasta salad...VERY VERY GOOD...very good portion size. Others in party had Ruben sandwich and a Club sandwich....full sandwiches very large and taste great. Price about $10....would recommend and will go back.
