Owner description: The Funky Chicken Art Project is the working studio of artists James Sargous, and Christina White. While they welcome guests to visit the studio while they are there working, they are no longer able to keep regular business hours as they travel to art shows, and do on site commissions regularly. If you want to come by and be certain they are there, you may call first and find out when they will be able to receive visitors. Sorry for the inconvenience.

“Really funky and unique”
Reviewed July 7, 2009

Visiting this place was the highlight of our trip to the Dahlonega. Lots of cool art, funky setting in a refurbished chicken house, and beautiful surroundings. Some interesting animals too! The owner was warm and friendly and gave us a tour. A great off-the-beaten-path place to explore!

“A Fun and Unique Art Gallery”
Reviewed April 8, 2008

A really neat gallery located in a refurbished chicken house. Wide selection of paintings, stain glass, sculpture and jewelry. The sculpture garden in the back is also really neat.

No telling what you might find. An eclectic kind of place. Really funky as name implies. Great owner to visit with.

The gallery is not to far from Amicalola Falls.
