Description: Shenanigans Restaurant & Irish Pub- or simply "The Pub" to its loyal guests and staff- is the "Cheers" of Dahlonega: a welcoming place to enjoy delicious food & drinks while making friends & memories. Shenanigans is located just off the picturesque Dahlonega square in the historic Strickland House. Look for the white building flying the Irish flag! Step inside and you'll quickly discover a very special atmosphere & dining experience. From the walls plastered with dollar bills decorated by guests, to the smiling servers behind a full liquor bar covered with photographs of celebrations past, it is clear that this is a place where people love to be. Shenanigans offers intimate indoor seating, a covered heated patio, and a pet-friendly deck & courtyard. This space allows us to host events and serve parties of various sizes, and could be the perfect location for your next meeting, rehearsal dinner, or get-together. We also feature weekly live music, Trivia, & Open Mic Night. Our fun, creative menu offers something for everyone and keeps our guests returning time after time. Classic pub foods like burgers, pizza, & wings are served alongside Irish favorites like Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, or Bangers & Mash. Shenanigans also features lighter "Leaves & Ladels" fare and hearty entrees like Balsamic Basil Sirloin, P.E.I. Mussels Linguini, or Seared Ahi Tuna. Don't miss out on the legendary "Crack Dip." Do you have special dietary needs? Don't worry! We have many vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options, and we will help you find a tasty meal for any allergy. Catering available.

We stumbled upon Shenanigan's after walking around the town square. We sat inside since it was a little damp and misty outside. Atmosphere was great, very warm and cozy. What it lacked in space it made up for in charm and overall "cool factor." Our waitress was very friendly and our order came out very quickly.

We really enjoyed the live entertainment. They performed a great variety of acoustic material (Simon & Garfunkel to Rascall Flatts). Definitely an added bonus to a great meal. We ordered the Pub Burger and the Gold Miner burger. Both were cooked perfectly and were almost more than we could eat. Prices were very reasonable and service was great.

Definitely worth a trip if you're anywhere in the area.

Our innkeeper clued us in to Shenanigans when we were looking for simple fare and it delivered on all counts. The place was packed with locals and we were lucky to get a table. Great shepherd's pie and burger. Staff was good and could deal with a full house. It's the farthest thing from fancy, but it is solid.

We went here because the reviews on here & we're very pleased! Atmosphere, service, food & cocktails were wonderful! We would of loved to have sat on the outside deck but being a beautiful fall saturday afternoon & starving we opted not to wait. Loved that they are super dog freindly. My husband eats burgers EVERYWHERE we go & he said the one he had here ranked at the top.

Just happened upon this great Irish pub today. We didn't stay long but sat at the bar for a Guiness. The prices were the best we'd had for a Guiness anywhere (Including Ireland!!). Really wish we hadn't had such a huge breakfast because the food coming out of the kitchen looked great.

We always enjoy stopping into Shenanigans for a quick lunch or seasonal beer. This weekend during Gold Rush we found the pub to he a nice retreat from the rain. The streets were full of people waiting yet the staff displayed such hospitality that we waited for an outside table ( we had our small dog with us).
Lunch was yummy and service excellent. This is not a place for fine dining but a friendly relaxing establishment.
We will return!
