Shenanigans is located just off the picturesque Dahlonega square in the historic Strickland House. Look for the white building flying the Irish flag! Step inside and you'll quickly discover a very special atmosphere & dining experience. From the walls plastered with dollar bills decorated by guests, to the smiling servers behind a full liquor bar covered with photographs of celebrations past, it is clear that this is a place where people love to be. This space allows us to host events and serve parties of various sizes, and could be the perfect location for your next meeting, rehearsal dinner, or get-together. We also feature weekly live music, Trivia, & Open Mic Night. Our fun, creative menu offers something for everyone and keeps our guests returning time after time. Classic pub foods like burgers, pizza, & wings are served alongside Irish favorites like Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, or Bangers & Mash. Shenanigans also features lighter "Leaves & Ladels" fare and hearty entrees like Balsamic Basil Sirloin, P.E.I. Mussels Linguini, or Seared Ahi Tuna. Don't miss out on the legendary "Crack Dip." “Great pub in the middle of the country”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

The food is always good, although a little on the pricey side. The service is usually alright, but the servers are generally pretty hands-off. I would highy recommend this as a place to bring a group of friends because it is casual, has a great atmosphere, and has a wide variety of food for everyone. Also, be sure to stop by for Thursday trivia night, which is always a blast.

“Good food and dog friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

Back yard is shady and they brought our dog a big bucket of water. We went several times and really enjoyed the live music on Saturday afternoon. The pub fare is good, but I ordered the seared ahi tuna salad which was very good. Generous pours on the wine. Our server, Allison, was a delight.

“Good Pub Grub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Just want a nice relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices with good food...this is the place. All the townees go here, so you know it has to be good. We enjoyed eating outside and the service was "johnny on the spot" If I lived nearby, this would be a weekly dining night out.

“Good Food & Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2013

We have visited several times recently with both small & large groups. Each time service was excellent. Best to sit outside or in screened porch. Very good but not exceptional food including burgers and some Irish fair.

“The food here is great!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

There is a patio here with nice atmosphere. The interior is the basement of an old house, but worth sitting in because the food is fantastic. Most of the servers are very friendly and fast. My only complaint is that many of the staff come out to the patio to smoke and we sometimes have cigarette ashes floating around and landing on our food. I am not a smoker, but don't mind the smoke when I can get this great food and sun at the same time.
