Not very large but offered some interesting exhibits and history of the gold rush era. They have a movie as well about the area.

It was Very Interesting and enjoyed our visit. Just a tad pricey for the size and amount of exhibits but no regrets we had fun!

This is a wonderful place to learn about the history of Gold. My husband always gets a 'gold digger itch' after visiting! There are two floors of museum plus a movie which shows the real life hardships and tragedy behind the 1st gold rush. Usually, there's someone upstairs to show you the attic, where with a flashlight you'll be able to see how this historic building was made with real gold flecks. There was so much gold it was in the mud and brick. If there's not someone up there, just ask, they'll take you up and show you. This attraction takes a little less than an hour.

This is a historic courthouse that has several exhibits of the gold rush days in Dahlonega. Prior to perusing the exhibits, be sure to watch the interesting and informative film that is shown upstairs about the gold rush. The film truly enhances the understanding of the exhibits. This was a pleasant and inexpensive way to spend some time.

Price was good, nice little tour and movie but not a place you can spend several hours at. If you are visting the area, you really need to stop in and get the history of this area on how it really started up.
