Just left Mountain Top Lodge having spent three relaxing days there. The Lodge is in a lovely setting just a short distance out of Dahlonga where there are great restraunts and good shops. Paul the Innkeeper , was very attentive and helpful with any requests. He was also very informative about activities in the area which was a great help for us getting around. It was quiet and comfortable and we look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future. Thank again Paul.

My wife and I spent two nights in the sunroom at the Mountain Top Lodge, celebrating our 42nd anniversary. A very clean room, comfortable bed, a private deck and beautiful view made the stay very enjoyable. We are B & B people and this was a superb stay. Paul, the owner, was very accommodating and shared much time talking and visiting with us while we were there. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our stay. Our breakfasts were great - egg omelet - orange juice - muffins - cantalope. The lodge is very rustic and a great place to leave the busy world behind for a few days and relax. We would highly recommend this B & B for anyone looking for a great place to stay. Far enough out of town to be relaxing, but close enough to be at the local shops or restaurants in 5 minutes. A very enjoyable weekend and memorable anniversary!

Room Tip: The sunroom where we stayed was very quiet, light, and had a great view off the balcony'

We stayed here for a weekend in Room 12, a King-sized room with a great view of the mountain. Our room was clean and comfortable and is in a house with three other rooms, all with their own outside entrances. The innkeeper, Paul, and the kitchen staff, Martha, were very nice and made sure we were happy with the breakfast each morning, which was delicious. The main house had a country-rustic feel and was in a great location overlooking the mountain. Paul is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, local wineries and restaurants. We would definitely return again.

Secluded, quiet location only minutes away from local restaurants and wine country. Paul gave great advice on local activities and eateries. Recommend highly for anyone visiting Dahlonega area. Paul is also a great chef; breakfast outstanding. Thanks

The new owner has refurbished this gorgeous lodge/B&B....the location in itself is beautiful, sitting on top of a little mountain and the lodge is very quaint; a place that feels like a home. Paul Carmody, the new innkeeper, is VERY attentive to detail in all respects and provides wonderful breakfasts too! This is a perfect place for couples to relax and/or tour the wineries of N. Georgia or someone who is looking to get away from 'the noise of it all' and regroup. Dahlonega is a lovely little town, too, with some great restaurants and beautiful scenery. Excellent value for the price too. :) Would highly recommend this lodge for a stay!

Room Tip: During warmer times, rooms with deck access would be lovely.
