Trip Advisor shows this as being a 2 1/2 star hotel, but I would say it is at least a 3 star. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very spacious with a large desk, refrigerator and microwave. The closet was pretty small, and the sliding door was hard to open and close, but that would be my only complaint. The bathroom was roomy, water pressure and temp were all good. They do have a fitness room but it was very small with 1 treadmill, 1 exercise bike and 1 stair steper. Although the entire time we were there, I think I was the only one who used it.
The hotel is very close to just about any food you want as well as WalMart and Target. There is a Waffle House and an AM\PM within walking distance of the hotel.
They have a decent breakfast, and have coffee and bottled water out all day. They also had fresh fruit out all day and in the afternoons, fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Overall I would say that this is a nice hotel with very nice employees, and would definitely stay here again.

This is a no frills Hampton. The hotel is suitable for business travel. Given the area, it is unlikely that anyone would attempt to use it as a resort, so it serves its purpose.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly.

Room Tip: All rooms are relatively equal

The staff was absolutley phenominal! my wife and I went to the Masters and the stay was awesome. Large rooms, felt safe, and located less than 2 minutes from some fine dining! Will stay there again next year for the Masters as well. Drive wasn't bad, a little over 2 hours for a scenic tour of the countryside to get to Augusta. Absolutely a jewel! Look forward to next year!!!!!

The room was very nice and clean...the large computer desk was a plus.
The breakfast was much better than average and the hotel is very close to just about any restaurant one could want.
It was also very quiet.
well worth the money

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cumming, GA Feb. 21-24, 2010. I was a bit concerned by some of the reviews I had read ahead of time, but my experience was nothing but good. The people at the front desk were knowledgeable and helpful with check-in and knowing the area. The hot breakfast was amazing. Each day featured a different type of egg, meat and either potatoes or bagel toppers to go with the cereal, yogurt, waffles, danish, breads and fresh fruit. They also offered a robust coffer along with the regular and decaf. The room was clean and comfortable. Don't expect a five star room in a three star hotel, but I found it to be better than I expected. It was quiet and the heater was not noisy as in so many hotels. I did enjoy my stay. One last thing, they offered fresh cookies in the lobby each night.
