The service was excellent the waitress was friendly and spot on with her service . The location and view was also excellent. The negatives was and always be the menu. We had the portabello grilled chicken sandwich with gouda cheese and onion rings/fries which was excellent and enough for a to go box for each of us. The menu is limited at best. Why not a shrimp/catfish basket? Chicken wings or a grilled hot dog/chilli dog for adults. These are quick and easy foods for the boaters. Fish tacos and nachos are other menu items that again are quick and easy for a group of people that arrive on boats or come to see the live entertainment,, Come on Cypress Grill you can do better on the menu without losing the quality of the existing items on the menu...

A friend and I visited Cypress Grill for a few drinks to have a little r&r time.
The service was not the best. We stood waiting to be seated for several minutes. Then once we got a table we waited again to order. Our drinks were great. Luckily we were not there to eat as the waitress only about 15 minutes later after our bar drinks arrived, asked if we wanted food. When we requested the check the service was no better. I am glad we did not need change. We left the check paid as well as an undeserved tip on the table when we left.
As we walked around the marina and saw her pick it up long after we left.
The view is beautiful and this is a nice refreshing spot on a hot day but if you go you will likely need great patience... And plenty of time.
This was not a busy day! So no excuse for the poor service.

This place has an amazing location on the lake-- it's a shame that summer after summer the staff is consistently terrible! And I think they have a quality control issue with the temperature of their food and spirits, I have gotten sick from eating/drinking here on three different occasions! Shame because they book pretty good talent, and this place has lots of potential! Maybe they will get it together one day.

Be sure to park in the Cypress parking lot or else be prepared to pay to be in the Georgia Veterans Park! On any given Sunday after church, this would be a leisurely place for casual dinning, drinks and some music. There are tables in the sun and some in the shade. While not knock your socks off cuisine, it satisfies. The service is friendly, but with a crowd it could get a bit slow. The best part of coming to the Cypress is the scenery and the opportunity to go for a stroll in the park, come back for another drink and linger a while longer with your friends. With balmy autumn afternoons on the way, I plan to enjoy the music, a beer, and the Flint River a few more times.
