The finest hotel experience we ever had, great value for your dollar. The staff at Columbus-North was the best of the best. Breakfast is fantastic, clean, fresh, hot meals everyday, a great variety you will find hard to believe. Our first choice when we travel from now on will be Hampton Inns. Try it, it's Guaranteed !

I'm delighted we were able to exceed your expectations during your visit. Spreading "Hamptonality is what we're all about. Top notch accommodations, complimentary full hot breakfast and WIFI, and a team of hotel professionals who really enjoy providing old fashioned Southern Hospitality all combine to help make Hampton North a true home away from home.

Very high rating on this property. Very well deserved an not often given by me. Extra compliments to Cynthia at the front desk for great service and going the extra mile to get me a 1st floor room instead of the 5th floor. This was a last minute internet reservation. This is the first time I've made a point to document a great empoyee, but Cynthia truely was the picture of what great customer service looks like!

This Hampton is a nice, but typical property. We stayed here for one weekend night on our way home from Huntsville, Alabama. Check in was a breeze, with a friendly desk clerk. We went up to our room to leave our luggage. The room was the standard Hampton room, was very clean and well appointed. The toiletries were Neutrogena. After resting for a bit, we went back down to the lobby to see if we could get a dinner recommendation. The desk clerk sent us to the riverfront downtown. That was a good recommendation. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We returned to our room for the night. The beds were the usual Hampton comfortable beds. Breakfast the next morning was the usual Hampton breakfast. There was plenty of seating and the staff kept everything well stocked. Check out was quick and easy. I gave this hotel a four instead of a five only because their parking lot is very small and we had trouble finding a parking spot. That was really a minor issue, though. We would stay here again if we return to Columbus.

You pointed out quite a few of the many amenties that make Hampton a "Lighthouse" among hotels. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Our guest services team prides themselves on their knowledge of the many good dining and shopping opportunites. Uptown Columbus has an eclectic college feel and features numerous restaurants from brick oven pizza to five star cuisine. Or, if you want to stay close to the hotel, there are at least 40 dining options within a two mile radius in progressive North Columbus. Thanks for taking time to post your review on Trip Advisor. I was very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The carpet was filthy in the hallways and in the rooms and it desperately needs to be replaced. It is obvious that Hampton Inn has lowered their standards to allow this property to remain a Hampton Inn in this condition. The staff was extremely friendly, but I would not recommend this property to anyone. Try the Hyatt Place as it is a great property.

I'm sincerely sorry you saw us at less than our best. The guest room carpet is being replaced and will be completed early next week. The contractor traffic in the corridors during the carpet project has resulted in some stains. We're scheduled to have all the corridors deep cleaned on the very day the last room carpet is done. There is never a perfect time to refurbish rooms and we've tried to keep the inconvenience to a minimum. The end result will be beautiful new carpet that really brightens the guest rooms. I hope you'll come back so we can show you the exemplary guest experience for which Hampton North is known and reflected by the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Trip Advisor.

This Hampton hit all of my key requirements when traveling on a business trip, good job! the check-in and check-out was a breeze, the room was clean and up to date. TV remote worked and it was a painless experience during a hectic business trip to Columbus. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm glad to know we were able to ease the pain of your hectic business trip. We make every effort to treat you as we would a guest in our home. That's our definition of "Hamptonality".
Starting the day with a full hot complimentary breakfast, enjoying a freshly baked cookie with a refreshing glass of lemonade, and, at the end of a long day, sinking into that comfy bed. These things and many more amenities combine to provide a memorable stay at Hampton North.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel.
Tiera at the desk was very pleasant.
The room was small, but from a design perspective, it was an excellent use of space.
I was on the 5th floor. The hall rug was kind of groddy, but my room was clean.
The bathroom counter was small, but okay.
The internet was spotty, but that is not uncommon in hotels.
There were plenty of outlets ... plenty of towels and washcloths.
There was lots of hot water and the pressure was good.
The bathroom was very clean.
There was a microwave and fridge in room.
I did not use the exercise room.
The clerk at the desk said that the property was about 10 years old.
I would stay here again!

The hotel is conventiently located to shopping and eateries. It is also located close enough to Fort Benning to be there in 10 to 15 minutes. There is a special rate for families visiting Ft. Benning. The saff was quite friendly and helpful.
