“A real neighborhood gem”

Exceptional cuisine with tantalizing flavor. Service is second to none - is almost too much food for one person. Get a sampler for two if possible!

“Thoroughly enjoyable meal.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

Stayed at a hotel nearby due to a really early flight, saw a few reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. Had the veggie combo and really thought it was great. Not super quick, but great service with a smile. I'll make it a point to return.

“Yummy Ethiopian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2012 via mobile

Food was yummy. Staff was very nice. Decor was minimal. The only negative was the lamb was a little tough. We got the sampler plate so there was a good variety.

“Exceptional Food!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2012

I visited Bole while staying in a hotel close to the ATL airport. It is located in a small strip mall and unassuming from the outside. But once at the table, the food and service is marvelous. The menu is large and varied. Tigist, one of the owners, served us and had very good descriptions of the food and recommendations for us. We had the lamb tibs and vegetable combination plate. The presentation was wonderful and the food was excellent. The injera, Ethiopian crepe-like bread, is served and used as your utensils to scoop up the meal. Bole truly is a local's favorite....it is full of people from all over Africa who come for a taste of home. Tigi was delightful to talk to....her enthusiasm and charm are an added bonus to the food. This is a gem for anyone stuck in an airport hotel, or a local looking for a change of pace from the usual fare. I loved it and will be back often.
