Dined here with spouse and two work colleagues. Good import draft beer selection. Nice to sit outside, but gnats abounded-could had used a citronella candle or something. Server very friendly and knowledgable. Standard pub fare on menu with fish and chips, Shepherd's Pie, bangers and mash, but also more gourmet selections.
Entrees we had were grilled salmon over cannelini beans (delish!) and a grilled steak item that he asked to be cooked medium and came out closer to well done. The salmon was superb. The steak, however, was closer to shoe leather and our colleague wasnt impressed, but he has been here many times and considers this a one-off. We split the toffee pudding for dessert and weren't too impressed. The sauce was separated and it seemed the cake-like pudding was microwaved and brought to us. Kind of a let-down after the awesome salmon. Still, we'll all return and look forward to it.
