You're hungry & you're tired & you're at least 6 miles from the nearest town in North Georgia. Out of luck??? Not at all! Turner's Corner will fix you up with a relaxing, delicious break, whatever time of day you're there!

This place has been around forever - sometimes as just a gas station, sometimes as a sundries store, sometimes as a sundries sttore that sold a little food. But it is now in its finest metamorphosis as an excellent little restaurant & bar. Great place for anyone hiking, bicycling or motorcycling the beautiful North Georgia mountains. The deck over the creek is a great place to unwind (inside dining as well), the food is good & the wait staff is absolutely dedicated to your comfort & enjoyment. They have a surprisingly varied menu - something for everyone - and while it's not five-star cuisine, it's fresh, well-cooked & very tasty....and served with a smile.

Sit on the deck and watch the assortment of bicyclists, hikers, bikers, etc. that pass through this major mountain intersection, munch away on good food, sip a cold beverage, listen to the creek and enjoy the beautiful scenery - it's a pause that refreshes the soul1

We used to frequent this establishment when we lived in the area years ago. I'm happy to see that it has reopened. It's relaxing to eat on the deck and watch the bikers pass. Unfortunately, the food on this visit was just OK. I ordered a salad, which was nothing special. My kids ordered the mac n' cheese. It was clearly the Kraft box variety. They love that stuff, but I was less than thrilled to be paying $4 for it. However, my husband had the blackened trout and said it was fantastic. As always, the wait staff was super friendly. I'll most likely return some day and order something different. I just love sitting out back on a pretty day in the mountains.

This is an old gas station built in the 1920's that has had some colorful history. It's located right beside the Chestatee River and the deck overlooks the river. It's at the corner of US 129 and GA Hwy 19 which makes it centrally located to a lot of hiking/water fall sites. It's between Cleveland, GA and Blairsville, GA just south of Blood Mountain. Helen. GA is not far away. We usually will hike a couple of nearby trails with water falls and end up here for dinner. It makes a fantastic ending of a fun day in the woods.

The service is always very good. They make you feel like family. The menu is varied and everything I have ever had there has been excellent. If you go here you have to try the desserts. They are unbelievably good. We highly recommend this restaurant and the surrounding area.

We were able to eat on the deck. Service was very good, and the food was very good. We were glad to find that they had reopened after being closed for a while.
