“Really Great Reubens!”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

Lunching here is like a short respite on a tropical island beach. The décor is complimented by nice jazz and the menu offers great choices. My wife enjoyed the New York Reuben with corn beef, while I savored the California Reuben with turkey. Both came with fresh kettle chips. The bonus was looking at the beautiful local art on the walls, available for purchase. Service was excellent and not rushed.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We had a wonderful breakfast. They now have breakfast on the weekends. Yummy! We have had dinner here many times on visits to the área. The murals in the bathrooms are fantastic. The service was very good.

“Nice surprise in Clayton, GA”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Hubby and I enjoyed lunch at Rumor Hazit on a rainy afternoon. We were on the deck; don't remember hearing any music, which was fine with us. Green tomato appetizer was great, and we shared a hamburger. Plenty of food. Will return when passing through Clayton to try other interesting items on the menu.

If you go to the rest room - be sure to look at the interesting art on the ceiling! LOL

“A Beachy Feel in the Mountains”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

The restaurants decor was cute and tropical. The music was beachy (Jimmy Buffett). The food was good. We thought it was a tad bit pricey but you got enough of it so they don't skimp on the servings. We got an appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes which were tasty but for over $7 we thought we should've gotten more than 3 slices. Our entrees were The Philly (which was a little tasteless, no green peppers) with fried potato wedges (yummy) and the Pot Roast (which my boyfriend enjoyed very much). The atmosphere almost made us think we were at the coast.

Beachy atmosphere in the Georgia Mountains! All in our party enjoyed their dinners! I chose to do 2 appetizers and the calamari was excellent.
