“Very Good Lunch”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

We went for lunch on a rainy day and sat out on the covered porch. Very nice open air dining! Service was great and meal was very fairly priced. I had the Cuban sandwich which was rather bland but the husband had a pizza, which was delicious! Servings were very generous...either the sandwich or pizza was more than enough for 2. We called in a take out pizza last Sunday night and it was excellent! Glad we found this place!

“Best salads in the area.”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Personal pan pizza is fantastic and priced just right. The Greek salads and cheese pizza's are delicious. Service a little slow at times, but if you want good food it is worth the wait. Wine is good and love the atmosphere. We really need to support local eateries. They work very hard to keep customers happy. Prices are very comparable to other restaurants in this area of Habersham GA. Come visit us in Clarkesville and experience great food, fantastic Art Galleries and just a plain beautiful area.

“Much Better!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

While I had swore them off shortly after they open, I gave them another chance with a company luncheon. I have been back several times since. While service is iffy, the food has not disappointed. A bit on the high side, but it seems everyone in Clarkesville is going that route.

“Very satisfied with our visit!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

We've eaten here several times. It has changed a little from the first visit about two years ago. This restaurant mostly serves "gourmet" brick-oven pizzas, but also has a limited upscale menu featuring traditional favorites like salmon, crab cakes, and a butcher block feature.

The wine list has decreased since the first time since we ate there, but there is the usual basic selection, including some from the local winery. They no longer offer the half-carafe. They offer a decent choice of Italian appetizers. We had the garlic focaccia, which is served with a marinara dip and a oil/basil dip.

My wife had the salmon with a bacon viniagrette, and I ordered the ribeye with red wine sauce and oyster mushrooms. It was cooked well; my one issue was with presentation. The steak was "plopped" on top of the sides (mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach) which struck me as a little pedestrian.

They have several excellent flavors of gelato for dessert.

The atmosphere is a little more "pizza parlor" than "nice restaurant"; we found out about "open mike night" and planned our dinner so that we could leave before that started.

Overall, we had a great experience and we felt that received excellent value for the money spent. We plan to go back sometime and try the pizza for the first time; we hear it's excellent.
