Maple Street Diner is open 6 days a week (6 am to 2 pm except on Saturday, and closed on Sunday), for breakfast and lunch. They do well with both meals. Breakfast is good and about 20% cheaper than the IHOP's of the world. Lunch typically has two rotating meats and two common meats (tuna salad and hamburger steak), with 10-15 vegetable choices. My favorite is Thursdays with a choice of Chicken and Dressing or Livers and Gizzards. On other days, I also like the Fried Chicken on Tuesday and Friday, and Sausage and Sauerkraut on Wednesday. I really like the potato salad available on Thursdays. Currently prices are $7.75 for meat and three, tea or water, and a dessert. Service is very fast and they keep your tea/coffee full. If you are going on Thursday, it will be packed, get there before 11:30 or after 12:45. I really like the place, but rated 4 stars as some of my friends do not feel comfortable there. This is a place to eat, not a place to dine. Most people are in and out in under 30 minutes.
