By far, the food and experience here was one of, if not the best, my wife and I have ever had. We found it on tripadvisor and are so glad we did. The service was impeccable, the food fantastic and it was delivered quickly. The onion soup and tomato soup were delicious. The fried green tomatoes were perfect and our grandson thought the bacon wrapped bbq scallops were great. The best was the mushroom/artichoke dip. It was so smooth and tasty! The brownie dessert and the peanut butter pie were the perfect ending to a great meal. The prices for everything were more than fair.

My wife and daughter had blackened Mahi Mahi, while I had blackened Red Snapper. The fish and all side items were very good. I especially liked the black-eyed peas, seasoned with onions and small amounts of meat (like at home).

The downstairs seating was full on this Friday night around 8:00pm, so ate upstairs in the bar area, which had several tables. Naturally, the bar area was louder than the regular seating downstairs, but did not disturb our meal. As we left around 9:00pm, musicians were bringing up equipment, so the upstairs might not be the place to eat at a later hour.

A good variety on the menu and their own creativity on many items. Small plates are adequate for many appetites or as a shared appetizer. Large plates are a full meal. We each had grits as part of our plates and they were as good as I've ever had. Service was very good and competent. Full wine list with good selection by the glass of more than just mass market varieties.

A large group of us had dinner here the other night. We ordered several appetizers which were really good. The fried green tomatoes were the best we've ever had and the lobster and smoked crab dip was amazing!!! The entrees, however, left us all disappointed. One of the dishes didnt have all the ingredients. A shrimp and pasta dish was extremely heavy on the pasta and light on the shrimp. On the whole, most of the entrees left us disappointed. The service and atmosphere were both good. An average experience on the whole.

Light, airy, low key. Nice, friendly staff. Very fresh greens in the salads. Not overly busy, so we got just the right amount of attention from our server. Good Value. Good menu selections for light eating, which is a welcome treat when you travel a lot. Nice presentation. Very good soups.
